Online Registration is now closed

Players that are registered and have fully paid fees should be contacted by a coordinator/team manager/ or team coach by email soon.  Usually, communication is by email so be sure to check your junk mail.  If you have not received any emails, please email us at [email protected] and you’ll be provided with your coach’s email and phone number.  It is possible that your email in our system is out of date or was incorrectly entered from a hand-written registration form.  We will be instructing coaches to ensure they receive responses from all their parents and to follow up with phone calls if an email response isn’t received.

We are still accepting registrations for the following age groups:

  • Mixed U4 Fall and Winter
  • Mixed U6 Winter House League
  • Boys U 7/U8 Recreation
  • Boys U10
  • Boys U11Girls U9/U11 Combined
  • Girls U13 Girls U17

If you are still trying to register for one of these age groups please contact us by email at [email protected].  If you are trying to register for other age groups you may also contact us at [email protected] but player will be put on a wait list pending any spots that open up.

DUFC cannot and will not guarantee that:

  • teams will be entered for every age/gender group and at every level of play. This depends on registration numbers as well as sufficient volunteer team officials.
  • Team or player placement.
  • a player will end up on a specific team, with a specific friend, or a specific coach.

Late Registration fees and $100 evaluation charge is now in effect

All registrations received after the last day of registration (September 1st, 2018) are subject to a $50 late fee ($25 for U4-U8) and will be placed on a wait list. Players will be accepted into the program if space is available in their age group. The player maybe required to take part in an evaluation with date and time determined by the tech director. Evaluations of your child after the the club wide evaluations are complete may subject to a $100 charge

Online Payment!

If you’ve registered with us before, all your contact information will already be entered. You only need to review it and update it if necessary. We’re here to help if you run into any issues with online registration!  It is important to make sure your email address is current so we are able to contact you for tryouts.  We do not contact via phone number.

Multi-Child Discount

Register more than one child and receive 15% off the second and third additional registration fee. Email us if you have more than 3 players in your family that you wish to register!

Financial Assistance

We believe that no child should be denied soccer due to financial hardship.  We have a number of programs designed to help those who need it, starting with KidSport.  Contact us at [email protected] for a confidential inquiry.

Low Registration Fees

Our pricing remains among the lowest in the entire city.

Volunteer Discount

All rostered team officials (coaches and managers) and board members receive a $50 credit towards a future registration fee as a small token of appreciation for time and effort. Bingo Volunteers for TGCA are eligible for a $55 bingo credit. Contact us to have this applied to your account. Waiver:

Before the season starts, CMSA will send an email requesting completion of an electronic online waiver. Paper copies are no longer necessary unless you don’t have email.

Spectator’s code of ethics:

  • Remember that youth play organized sports for their own fun.
  • Be on your best behavior.
  • Applaud good plays by your own team AND visiting teams.
  • Show respect for your team’s opponents.
  • NEVER ridicule or scold a player for making a mistake during the competition.
  • Condemn the use of violence in all forms.
  • Respect the officials’ decisions.
  • Encourage players to always play according to the rules.
  • Respect role of the coaches and managers
  • Take a 24 hour cool off period before submitting any complaints

Deerfoot United Football Club Player code of conduct:

Failure to adhere to this code of conduct may result in Disciplinary Action which may include, but is not limited, to the following:

  • Verbal or written warning by a coach, official or director
  • Suspension of playing privileges for specific number of games
  • Suspension of playing privileges for season
  • Official record kept of incidents by DUFC

This does not affect decisions made by designated officials during game play such as cards/discipline by the referee.

U4 to U7:
  • I will play for fun.
  • I will be on my best behavior during games/practices.
  • I will not indulge in behavior which may be considered offensive.
  • I will not use bad language at games/ practices.
  • I will be a team player and get along with my teammates.
  • I will learn the rules of the game and play by them.
  • I will listen to the coaches and follow their instructions.
  • I will remember that winning is not everything and that having fun, improving skills, making friends and doing my best are also important

U9 to U19

  • I will learn sportsmanship and self-discipline, and not let my frustrations lead to inappropriate behavior on or off the field.

  • I will respect my teammates, the coaches, parents, officials and my opponents.
  • I will respect the decisions of the coaches and the officials.
  • I will be on time for practices/games or will let the coaches know in advance if I will be late or cannot attend.

  • I will not publicly criticize my teammates, coaches, opponents or officials.
  • I will not use foul language, racial slurs or other derogatory comments towards my teammates, coaches, officials or my opponents.
